Physiotherapist
Feroz is a Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapist of Ontario. Feroz has completed Equivalency program in Physiotherapy from McGill University and holds a Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy from India with Masters Degree in Healthcare Management from India. Always seeking to learn new techniques and advance his skills, Feroz is trained in the McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy coursework for the Lumbar and Cervical spine. He is also certified with Mulligan's Mobilization with Movement techniques for upper and lower extremity in Canada and certified in Acupuncture and dry needling.
Feroz has more than 20 years of experience working with a variety of individuals from all walks of life, ages, and backgrounds. Be they an office worker, athlete or a senior, an injured worker or someone seeking to achieve a new physical goal, he has an exceptional ability to relate to all of his patients. Feroz enjoys a very active lifestyle himself, participating in many sports including ping pong,cycling and Pickleball. When not lacing up for one of these activities, you might find Feroz spending his free time reading, or spending time with family and friends.
Physiotherapist
Aaron Cardinell graduated from the University of Manitoba School of Medical Rehabilitation with a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation (Physical Therapy) degree in 1988. He made history as the first Indigenous Registered Physiotherapist in Canada, a milestone that reflects his pioneering commitment to healthcare. His career includes serving as Director of Physiotherapy for the Blood Tribe Department of Health in Alberta, where he gained extensive experience in patient care, administration, and community health.
Aaron is dedicated to mentoring Indigenous students pursuing careers in medicine and health sciences. He maintains his clinical excellence through ongoing professional education in orthopedic, neurological, and sports medicine disciplines, and has contributed to Indigenous health research at the international level through the United Nations. His patient-centric approach combines thorough assessment skills with manual therapy orthopedic techniques, and he values close collaboration with physicians and surgeons to ensure comprehensive care for each patient.
Occupational Therapist
As an Occupational Therapist who grew up in the Ottawa area, Tanja has attended both the University of Guelph for an undergraduate degree in Biology, as well as McGill University to complete her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. After graduation, she returned to the Ottawa area and has worked with adults and children in the community for the past 26 years.
Tanja's services include assessment of the Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) of adults with various physical and mental health needs to determine their service and equipment needs, particularly around home safety. She provides OT services to adults in various settings, including those with Stroke, Dementia, ALS, Muscular Dystrophy, Multiple Sclerosis, and hip/knee replacements. She has provided services for WSIB and MVA clients, including Ergonomic, Home Safety, Home Accessibility and Mobility assessments, interventions, and follow-ups including the Assisted Devices Program (ADP) as an authorizer.
Tanja has effectively managed a caseload of adults with disabilities as a rehabilitation consultant to assess their vocational skills and readiness for employment - preparing and assisting clients for job searching, job interviews, job development, job placement and job retention. Helping to maximize the functioning of people in their own environments continues to be a passion, and she also continues to enjoy travelling and spending time with her family at the cottage over the summer months.
