Physiotherapist - B.Sc. MPT, MCPA, CAFCI (Acupuncture), Dry needling
Bridget was raised in Ottawa, Ontario she attended the University of Ottawa and obtained her four years honours degree in kinesiology, while also playing university hockey. Upon graduation she completed the Masters of Physiotherapy program at Western University and was also a member of the university hockey team. With a genuine love for orthopedics she pursued and completed the Sports Physiotherapy Fellowship at the Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Clinic. During this fellowship she was involved with the latest research, viewed surgeries, followed athletes from acute on field injuries to the rehabilitation setting, and worked within a close medical team at the clinic.
She has been in Whistler British Columbia for the past 10 years treating a variety of injuries and working closely with National, Provincial and pro- level freestyle skiers and snowboarders including travelling to Spain with the Canadian National Snowboard Team for the 2013 World Cup in Sierra Nevada. She has continued to pursue post-graduate training in spinal mobilization and manipulation and has completed her certifications in Anatomical Acupuncture (CAFCI), Dry needling (IMS) as well as recent courses in concussion & vestibular rehabilitation.
Her personal experience with sports (snowboarding, skiing, ice hockey, soccer, cross-x biking, fastball, running, wakeboarding) has also allowed for an insightful understanding of injury and its effect on the individual both physically and mentally. She understands the importance of getting back out there and doing what you love to do!
Physiotherapist, BHSc, MScPT
Alex grew up in Rideau Lakes before attending the University of Ottawa to complete an Honours Bachelor of Health Science (2014) degree. She then moved to pursue her Master of Science in Physical Therapy (2016) at the University of Toronto before returning to rural living to begin practice.
As a student, Alex completed intensive clinical internships in sports medicine, private orthopaedic practice, private neurological rehab, and acute cardiorespiratory, neurological and orthopaedic care. Since graduation, she has worked at both the Carleton Place and Perth locations of Back on Track treating individuals of all ages with a wide variety of orthopedic presentations. In addition to staying up to date on relevant research, Alex has continued her learning by taking a number of post-graduate courses in manual and manipulative therapy (2016-2019), acupuncture (2017, 2018), dry needling (2019), concussions (2020) and soft tissue release (2016).
When not at work, Alex prefers to be outdoors: hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, camping, skiing, spending time with family and friends.
Alex is interested in helping patients succeed in achieving their goals by creating individualized evidence-based treatment plans that utilize a combination of manual therapy, exercise prescription and education.
Physiotherapist
Pinki earned her Masters in Physical Therapy in 2011 from GJU of Science & Technology. She has extensive experience in managing a diverse caseload, with special focus on musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, TMJ, concussion and vestibular dysfunctions. She is passionate about empowering patients through education and movement awareness. She addresses patient's needs and goals by encouraging them to be an active participant in their recovery.
Pinki has taken several Post graduate courses to advance her Physiotherapy skills to assure quality of care for her patients including MDT Post graduate courses/McKenzie method from Part A to C (Advance Lumbar spine & extremities, Cervical & Thoracic spine), Mulligan Concept and taping, Concussion Management (Level 1 & 2), Vestibular Rehabilitation, Soft tissue release, Cervical, Thoracic & Lumbar spine Acupuncture & Dry needling, and continuing Manual Therapy courses from CPO, Orthopedic division.
In her spare time, Pinki enjoys hiking, yoga, playing tennis & spending time with family & friends.
Osteopathic Manual Practitioner
Shea earned her Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice at the National Academy of Osteopathy after completing an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology at Brock University in 2017. As a senior Brock student, she completed a clinical internship in the athletic therapy clinic on campus, working with several varsity athletes. During her time at the National Academy of Osteopathy, she also worked in the on-campus clinic, offering osteopathic treatments to the public, with clients ranging from fit university students, to office workers suffering from common workplace injuries, to elderly looking to improve their mobility and reduce chronic pain.
In the coming months, Shea plans to continue her training in Myofascial Release and Obstetric/Pediatric Manual Therapy, with hopes of offering specialized treatment for women with respect to fertility, during pregnancy and postnatal, as well as infants and young children.
As an osteopathic manual practitioner, or manual osteopath, her basis of practice is to help clients reach their optimal health through various gentle techniques guided to help the body return to its ideal structural alignment and physiological function. Osteopathy focuses not just on the musculoskeletal system, but all systems of the body, with the belief that all systems are interconnected and rely on each other to maintain an overall healthy state.
Shea implements a holistic approach to healing by using manual palpation and osteopathic manipulative therapies such as musculoskeletal joint mobilization, muscle energy techniques, visceral manipulation, and craniosacral therapy.
Registered Kinesiologist
Chelsea is a registered kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiologist of Ontario after graduating from an Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa in 2023. Chelsea has been a part of the Back on Track team since 2018 in both administrative and physiotherapy assistant positions. She also completed her university 4th clinical internship at our Perth Clinic under the supervision of our Physiotherapist Alexandra.
As a kinesiologist, her basis of practice is to help clients improve and optimize performance and function through exercise prescription. As well as treat and prevent injury and disease through individualized exercise and rehab programs and education. Chelsea works in coordination with the other health care professionals in the Back on Track team (Osteo/Physio/RMT) to help guide you through your health journey.

Chelsea understands how exercise can aide in anxiety, low energy, depression, high blood pressure, obesity, and diabetes, and can tailor exercise programs to include those aspects. In her free time, Chelsea enjoys curling, soccer, playing with her dog, and reading. Chelsea is also continuously furthering her education and is currently taking courses in nutrition and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Occupational Therapist
As an Occupational Therapist who grew up in the Ottawa area, I have attended both the University of Guelph for an undergraduate degree in Biology, as well as McGill University to complete my Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. After graduation, I returned to the Ottawa area and have worked with adults and children in the community for the past 26 years.
