Sukhi Johal

Sukhi obtained her degree in Physical Therapy from McGill University in 2008. After working as a physiotherapist in orthopedics for 3 years, she went on to obtain a Masters of Clinical Science in Advanced Health Care Practice (Manipulative Therapy) from University of Western Ontario in 2012. In addition to manual therapy, Sukhi also has a passion for teaching and has provided mentorship and guidance to student physiotherapists, and to physiotherapists pursuing their advanced manual therapy certifications. She has taken several post-graduate manual therapy courses (Levels 1-5), as well as courses in acupuncture, dry needling, myofascial release, the shoulder complex, and running injuries. Sukhi strongly believes in providing evidence-based care, and so is always on the lookout for new trends in injury prevention and rehabilitation.

In her spare time, her 2 girls keep her active and busy. She enjoys running and participating in races, kickboxing, coaching her daughters' soccer teams, and you will often find her with her nose in a good book.

Harshil Shah is a physiotherapist with an established background in the medical field from India, where he pursued a Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy. He is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

His aim is to achieve goals based on the patient's health and applies a treatment approach that is patient centered and goal oriented.

Harshil completed his diploma in fitness and health promotion in Canada and possess a deep understanding of the human body's intricate mechanics. Harshil's holistic approach not only focuses on symptom relief but also on addressing the root cause of your concerns. He works closely with patients to create a collaborative treatment plan, incorporating evidence-based techniques and exercises to optimize your recovery and prevent further injury. Harshil recently completed his certification in Dry Needling.

As a physiotherapist with over six years of experience, Jinny is trained in musculoskeletal and sports injury management. His work with professional athletes in India has honed his skills in injury prevention, biomechanical assessment, and performance optimization. Jinny utilizes evidence-based practices and personalized treatment plans, integrating advanced therapeutic techniques for optimal recovery. His approach is holistic, addressing physical symptoms and underlying factors to achieve successful outcomes.

Jinny has advanced/post-graduate level training in Orthopedic Manual Therapy including Mulligan's Techniques and Maitland-Based Manual therapy. This means that he utilizes a specialized hands-on approach to therapy in combination with exercise prescription and the latest technology in tissue healing. Jinny also has advanced training in Sports Specific Injuries, Athletic Shoulder Rehab, Dynamic Taping, and ACL Rehab and Plyometric Exercises.

Aishwarya is a passionate physiotherapist with over four years of international and Canadian clinical experience. She holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College in India, where she graduated as the Final Year Topper, and a Postgraduate Certificate (Honours) in Clinical Kinesiology from Sheridan College. She is also a Certified Exercise Physiologist, Certified Yoga Therapist, and has completed Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Level 1, Pelvic Girdle Pain Rehabilitation, and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Level 2: The Role of Physiotherapy in the Treatment of Pelvic Pain Through a Trauma-Informed Lens.

Aishwarya has experience treating a wide range of musculoskeletal, orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, and sports-related conditions. She previously worked alongside a neurosurgeon, providing rehabilitation for patients with scoliosis and complex spinal conditions, and also served as physiotherapist for a regional girls' cricket team, focusing on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and return to sport. In Canada, she has worked as an Exercise Counsellor and Yoga Instructor with the City of Mississauga, helping individuals manage chronic conditions, improve mobility, and achieve their rehabilitation goals through evidence-based exercise programs.

Her treatment approach combines hands-on manual therapy, individualized exercise prescription, and movement-based rehabilitation to help patients reduce pain, restore function, and return to the activities they enjoy. Aishwarya has a special interest in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, and pelvic health. She is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-informed, and trauma-informed care tailored to each patient's unique goals and needs.

Outside the Clinic: Aishwarya stays active practicing yoga, playing badminton and cricket, and loves experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

Ava holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Kinesiology from Trent University. As a Rehabilitation Specialist, Ava applies her strong foundation in exercise science, anatomy, and biomechanics to support clients through all stages of recovery, return to activity, and overall fitness development.

During her time at Trent University, Ava gained experience as a Personal Trainer working with a diverse range of clients; from older adults, including those living with Parkinson's Disease, to high-performance athletes. This experience has shaped her ability to adapt rehabilitation programs to meet each individual's unique needs and goals.

Ava takes a personalized, goal-oriented approach to care, designing exercise programs that promote strength, mobility, and functional independence. She is passionate about a holistic approach to health, using movement as a tool to enhance overall well-being, prevent injury, help clients regain confidence in their physical abilities and improve athletic performance.

Courtney has been practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist since 2018. After graduating from the Massage Therapy program at Atlantic College of Therapeutic Massage in Fredericton, New Brunswick and practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist she is excited for her new adventure here in Ottawa. Courtney is in good standing with the College of Massage Therapy of Ontario and RMTAO.

Courtney believes each Massage Therapy treatment should be specific to the individuals needs. This may include therapeutic massage, deep tissue, Cupping therapy, Kinesiology Taping, Lymphatic Drainage or simply time to reflect and unplug from this wild ride we call life. Courtney prides herself of having a safe place of healing and she looks forward to starting this new journey together.

Courtney comes from a small military community just outside Fredericton, New Brunswick. You would most likely find her enjoying a beautiful day on a patio with her fiancé or cuddled up on the couch with her Golden Retriever, Chandler. To say Courtney is an animal person is an understatement. Courtney enjoys the outdoors, but can also binge an entire TV series and not feel the least bit guilty. After an injury brought his athletic career to an end, Fuat developed a greater appreciation for the physical and emotional impact of pain and injury, inspiring him to pursue a career in healthcare.

Fuat provides personalized, patient-centered care using a combination of deep tissue, sports, and Swedish massage, along with joint mobilizations, stretching, and remedial exercise to help each patient achieve their goals. Atike graduated with Honours from the Massage Therapy program at TriOS College in 2026. Her treatments incorporate therapeutic and Swedish massage, lymphatic drainage, stretching, joint mobilizations, and remedial exercise. Atike has a particular interest in lymphatic drainage and enjoys working with patients experiencing swelling, muscle tension, restricted mobility, neck and back discomfort, and postural concerns.

As an Occupational Therapist who grew up in the Ottawa area, I have attended both the University of Guelph for an undergraduate degree in Biology, as well as McGill University to complete my Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. After graduation, I returned to the Ottawa area and work with adults and children in the community for the past 26 years.

My services include:

  • Assessment of the Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) of adults with various physical and mental health needs to determine their service and equipment needs, particularly around home safety.
  • OT services to adults in various settings, including those with Stroke, Dementia, ALS, Muscular Dystrophy, Multiple Sclerosis, hip/knee replacements
  • Provided services for WSIB and MVA clients, including Ergonomic, Home Safety, Home Accessibility and Mobility assessments, interventions, and follow-ups including the Assisted Devices Program (ADP) as an authorizer.
  • Effectively managed a caseload of adults with disabilities as a rehabilitation consultant to assess their vocational skills and readiness for employment- prepared and assisted clients for job searching, job interviews, job development, job placement and job retention.

Helping to maximize the functioning of people in their own environments continues to be a passion, and I also continue to enjoy travelling and spending time with my family at the cottage over the summer months.

Ghassan received his Ph.D. in Physical Education and Sport while in Ukraine in 1998. His passion for knowledge has led him to continue his education in health care, becoming a Manual Osteopath and FST provider (Fascial Stretch Therapy).

FST is a series of movements created to separate and organize the many connective tissue layers surrounding the muscles, joints, organs, and bones. It incorporates breathing techniques and traction while taking joints to their available pain-free range. Gentle muscle contraction may also be used to achieve length and decrease tone in muscle.

Some of the benefits of FST include: improved flexibility, improvements in strength, improved balance, improved coordination, improvements in alignment, correction of pelvic rotations, and an overall better quality of life.

Ghassan is also a Graston Specialist Certified and specialized in Formthotics, a quick and easy alternative to traditional orthotics. His other certifications include Exercise Therapy Association Level 2 and Acupuncture/Dry Needling. He is an FMT mobility specialist and personal trainer specialist (Canfitpro).

In his youth, Ghassan was a professional Waterpolo Player. Later, he coached at the competitive level for both Syria and the Ukraine. He has a keen interest in swimming and Waterpolo specific injuries.

Ghassan has over 20 years experience with athletes in over 10 modalities which also includes cupping, ultrasound, laser therapy, TENS therapy, and acupuncture. He uses osteopathy techniques dealing with chronic pain and TMJ conditions, Muscle Energy Techniques (MET's), joint mobilization, and soft tissue manipulation.

Hannah is often the first friendly voice patients hear when contacting the clinic, and she takes pride in creating a welcoming, supportive environment for everyone who walks through the doors. Her organizational skills, attention to detail, and genuine care for patient wellbeing make her an invaluable member of the Hunt Club team. Hannah's commitment to excellence ensures that every patient receives the coordinated, compassionate care they deserve from their first appointment through their entire treatment journey.
