>> OUR TEAM

At Back on Track, our commitment to a high standard of care and service is focused on you the client and meeting your goals and changing needs. Whether you are recovering from injury or surgery, managing a disease or chronic problem, or trying to maintain good health and prevent problems, we will work with you to determine your goals then customize your treatment plan to achieve them.

Back on Track Physiotherapy and Sports Injury has been serving you and the Ottawa area since 1994.We have treated thousands of clients suffering from many types of problems - sports injuries, low back pain , whiplash, headaches, strains and sprains, and the list goes on. Our team of five physiotherapists, a massage therapist, and a fantastic front office staff offers a dynamic multidisciplinary approach to meet your healthcare needs.

Over the years, we have established an extensive network of healthcare professionals in the region; so if as part of your treatment program you require an orthopaedic/sports medicine specialist consult, certified fitness trainer/kinesiologist, occupational therapist, ergonomist, bracing/orthopaedic supplies, or orthotics, we will refer you to the appropriate professional.

You can be assured that you are receiving the most comprehensive approach to your treatment program that we can offer. At Back on Track, we feel that you should be treated with the care and respect that we ourselves would expect from any healthcare professional. This is why we have built lasting and trusting relationships with our referral sources, our clients and their friends and family-they know what to expect and what they're getting every time they come to our clinic.

OUR APPROACH

The focus of what we do is centered on spending quality one-on-one time with the client .Our mandate is to provide highly skilled therapies for pain control and return of function.

What To Expect:

- hands-on treatment that may include joint mobilization/manipulation, muscle stretching and myofascial work for pain relief and improved mobility

- modalities such as ultrasound, interferential current, electrical muscle stimulation, acupunture, and TENS for pain relief, improved healing, and increased circulation

- education: we make sure the client fully understands their condition, the cause(s), and what to do to help themselves and avoid re-injury.

- science-based exercise programs individualized to each client that can be done at home, in our fully equipped gym, or at a local fitness facility

As a client of Back On Track, you can count on a thorough biomechanical assessment to determine the cause of your problem and an appropriate treatment program, significant time spent with your therapist, and to be taught skills to take control of your pain.
